Who we are

Aris Drivas Yachting (“DRIVAS”, “we”, “us”) is a yacht brokerage established in 1972. Our registered office is in Athens, Greece. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use drivasyachts.com and our related services.

What we collect

  • Contact information — name, email, phone number, submitted via our enquiry and contact forms.
  • Charter & sales enquiry details — dates, destinations, budget, yacht preferences, and the yacht you are enquiring about.
  • Consent records — when you submit a form, we record that you consented to this policy, including a timestamp, the form source, and your IP address.
  • Usage data — pages visited, device type, browser, referral source (collected via the analytics services listed below, only with your consent).
  • Cookies — see the cookie categories below.

Cookies & tracking technologies

Our cookie banner offers three choices: accept all, customise by category, or essential only. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of every page.

  • Essential— required for the site to function (security verification via Cloudflare Turnstile, your consent choice itself, your yacht shortlist). These do not track you and cannot be switched off. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless service that counts page views without identifying visitors.
  • Analytics (with your consent)— Google Analytics 4 (usage statistics), Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session replays and heatmaps that show us how pages are used), and HubSpot (our customer relationship platform). If you later submit an enquiry form, HubSpot links your browsing activity on this site — such as the yachts you viewed — to your contact record, so that we can respond to your enquiry with relevant context.
  • Marketing (with your consent)— Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Insight. These measure the performance of our advertising and may be used to show you relevant advertising on those platforms.

Consent

By submitting an enquiry form on this website, you explicitly consent to the processing of the personal data you provide for the purposes described in this policy. Your consent is recorded and retained separately from your enquiry data so that we can demonstrate compliance with GDPR requirements. Cookie consent is collected separately via the cookie banner. You may withdraw either consent at any time — cookies via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer, enquiry data by contacting us.

How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide brokerage services.
  • To match you with suitable yachts, crew, and itineraries.
  • To send you relevant yacht offerings if you have opted in.
  • To improve our website and services.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, where you have consented to marketing cookies.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with yacht owners, charter management companies, and co-brokers solely to fulfil your enquiry. The third-party services that process data on our behalf, under appropriate data processing agreements, are: Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics), Supabase (database), Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads), Microsoft (Clarity), HubSpot (CRM and email), Meta and LinkedIn (advertising measurement, only with your marketing consent), and Cloudflare (form security). Some of these providers process data outside the EEA under EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

Data retention

We retain enquiry data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal requirements. Consent records are retained for the duration required by applicable data protection law (typically the lifetime of the data processing relationship plus any statutory retention period). You may request deletion of your enquiry data at any time; consent records may be retained for audit purposes as permitted by law.

Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable Greek law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
  • Lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA).
