Aicon Yachts was established in 1999 at Giammoro, in the province of Messina, Sicily. The company was listed on the Milan stock exchange in 2007 and ceased trading in 2012; the name has since been reacquired.
The yard built fibreglass flybridge and open motor yachts.
The original range ran from roughly 56 to 85 feet across the Fly and Open lines, with the 25.9-metre Aicon 85 Fly as its flagship; the 64 Fly took a World Yacht Trophy in its class. Authoritative records of the original yard are limited, and the brand has since been relaunched under separate ownership.
