About the yard

Greenline Yachts was founded in 2008 by brothers Jernej and Japec Jakopin, who had already run the naval architecture practice J&J Design, established in Slovenia in 1983, and the Seaway yard they set up in 1989, designing production yachts for builders including Jeanneau and Bavaria before launching their own brand. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2015, and Vladimir Zinchenko's SVP Yachts acquired the shipyard's assets, along with the Shipman brand; production continues at the yard in Begunje, Slovenia. Greenline builds motor yachts in fibreglass, sized from around 10 metres up to 18.2 metres in the core range, offered with diesel, hybrid or fully electric propulsion depending on the model, spanning the entry NEO family through to the mid-size Greenline range. Its largest model, the OceanClass 68, launched in 2020 at 20.80 metres and was marketed by the yard as the largest production hybrid yacht built at the time, pairing twin diesel engines with a pair of electric motors and a battery bank for silent, emission-free cruising.
