About this yacht
ALEXANDRA is a stunning 50-metre Benetti motor yacht representing the Italian shipyard's renowned Golden Bay series of semi-displacement vessels. Built in 2002 and comprehensively refitted in 2018, she represents the sixth launch in this celebrated series, exemplifying timeless design excellence with the distinctive vision of Terence Disdale, whose elegant interiors combine light oak paneling with warm earth tones to create an atmosphere of understated sophistication. The yacht's classic Italian exterior lines and generous window openings are signature hallmarks of Benetti craftsmanship, while her interior decoration by Alan Jones showcases meticulous attention to detail throughout.
ALEXANDRA charter accommodations span seven spacious staterooms, sleeping up to twelve guests with maximum comfort across an upper deck master suite, two VIP cabins positioned on the main deck, five additional double cabins, and two twin cabins. Each stateroom is appointed with satellite television, climate control, and thoughtful amenities designed for extended cruising. The generous layout provides flexibility for various group compositions, whether hosting families, corporate groups, or mixed parties seeking privacy and refined comfort. A professional crew of twelve ensures attentive service and seamless yacht operations throughout your charter experience.
The 2018 refit was comprehensive in scope and executed to exacting standards. Work encompassed new carpeting and soft furnishings throughout, complete mattress replacement in the master suite, newly refurbished sofas and upholstery with brand new pillows, refreshed exterior joinery including sanding and repainting of all exterior tables and handrails, and complete mechanical servicing of main engines and generators. New curtains and blinds were installed throughout, alongside new linens, tablecloths, and leather restoration of dining room seating.
The yacht's expansive outdoor spaces are designed for leisure and entertainment. The fabulous sundeck features a spa pool with Jacuzzi and professional barbecue, multiple alfresco lounging and dining areas, and sanded wooden sunbeds. The main salon features fold-down balconies that open to Mediterranean breezes, extending living spaces seamlessly to the exterior. A well-equipped beach club and comprehensive stabilizer system enhance comfort across all sea states.
For water sports enthusiasts, ALEXANDRA carries an impressive collection including two tender vessels, multiple Sea-Doo watercraft, water skis and wakeboards, paddleboards, and complete snorkeling and diving equipment with masks, fins, and safety gear for all ages. The yacht's semi-displacement hull design provides excellent range for extended Eastern Mediterranean itineraries while maintaining the comfort and seaworthiness expected aboard a vessel of this caliber. Based in Athens, ALEXANDRA is ideal for Greek and Eastern Mediterranean charters, offering the perfect platform for refined leisure cruising combining timeless Italian design, spacious accommodations, and comprehensive onboard amenities.

What is included in the charter rate for ALEXANDRA?+
The weekly rate covers the yacht itself, her crew of 12, insurance, and use of the onboard equipment and water toys. Fuel, food and beverages, berthing and port fees, and shore excursions are paid from the APA, and VAT is charged on the base rate. APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is typically around 40% of the base rate, held by the captain and accounted for in full — unspent balance is refunded at disembarkation. Greek charter VAT varies by yacht and by charter, broadly between 5.2% and 24%, depending on the yacht's type, size and certification, the duration of the charter, whether it passes through international waters, and whether the yacht carries permanent professional crew. We confirm the applicable rate for ALEXANDRA before you sign. Crew gratuity is separate and discretionary, customarily 10–15% of the base rate.
When is the best time to charter ALEXANDRA?+
ALEXANDRA charters from €180,000 per week in low season and €210,000 in high season — a difference of about 17% between the two. In Greece, July and August are peak: the most settled weather, the busiest anchorages, and the highest rates. Late May, June, and September offer warm water and quieter islands at the low-season rate, and are what we most often recommend. The meltemi wind is strongest in July and August across the Cyclades, which is worth weighing if sea state matters to your party.
