About this yacht
M/Y Elena was launched in 1992 from the Perama Shipyard in Greece and was among the first yachts to enter the Greek charter market. Built with a steel hull and superstructure by Maritime Tourist Investments Ltd., this 30-meter custom motor yacht offers steady, comfortable cruising. Her entire interior is crafted from oak and mahogany wood, creating warm, inviting spaces that make guests feel genuinely at home. The classic displacement design maximizes interior volume relative to her moderate beam of 6.16 meters, with a shallow draft of just 1.8 meters that allows access to shallow anchorages and smaller ports throughout the Mediterranean and beyond.
Elena's layout is thoughtfully designed for multi-cabin charters. The main deck features a spacious saloon and dining area flowing into a well-appointed galley, alongside a VIP cabin. The mid-lower deck houses the Master cabin with its own sofa, while two twin cabins occupy this level. Two additional twin cabins are positioned in the stern lower deck. A seventh cabin with bunk beds serves as flexible accommodation upon request. All guest cabins feature ensuite facilities and full air-conditioning. Crew quarters with a separate entrance are located on the lower deck, ensuring privacy for both guests and staff.
The 2008 refit extended the stern and added a new swim platform for convenient sea access. A comprehensive 2016 renovation introduced new upholstery throughout the saloon and cabins, along with a second sun deck expanding outdoor entertaining space. The 2023 extensive refit refreshed the yacht entirely: full exterior repainting, new carpeting in the salon and all cabins, new bedding throughout, refreshed upholstery on salon sofas with a new sofa in the master cabin, new teak deck chairs on the lower deck exterior, new sunbeds on the upper deck, and restoration of the tender with a 70hp outboard. Bluetooth and USB music stations were installed in five cabins, bringing modern entertainment capability to this classic vessel.
For cruising, Elena is powered by twin MAN diesel main engines producing 1,200 HP (883 kW) with twin screw propellers, achieving a maximum speed of 17 knots. She accommodates up to 13 guests across her six cabins with a crew of five. Water recreation equipment includes a 4.4-meter tender with 70hp outboard engine, water skis, tubes, rings, snorkeling gear, and fishing equipment. The ELENA charter experience combines timeless Greek maritime tradition with thoughtful modern updates, ideal for guests seeking authentic luxury cruising in Mediterranean and Caribbean waters.
