About this yacht
VERTIGE is the inaugural superyacht in Tankoa's prestigious S501 series, representing a landmark achievement in contemporary motor yacht design. Built in 2017 and comprehensively refit in 2023, this 49.9-meter Italian-engineered vessel combines striking exterior aesthetics with thoughtfully appointed interiors by Margherita Casprini. The yacht's design credentials are distinguished—VERTIGE won the World Yacht Trophies 2017 award for Best Exterior Design on a Superyacht 38M–50M, a testament to her sleek, harmonious profile and commitment to seamless integration with the sea.
The accommodation layout reflects sophisticated planning for charter clientele. VERTIGE sleeps 12 guests across six cabins: a master suite and VIP cabin positioned on the main deck, complemented by four additional guest cabins below. The master suite is particularly noteworthy, featuring two hydraulic fold-down balconies that can be opened fully or partially, allowing guests to experience the ocean air while maintaining privacy and comfort. This design philosophy extends throughout the yacht—numerous fold-down balconies and side decks create multiple touchpoints with the water, fostering a sense of connection that discerning charter guests increasingly value.
Outdoor living is the defining character of VERTIGE. The expansive sundeck accommodates a heated Jacuzzi, full bar service, sunloungers, and dining facilities, while a large folding swim platform transforms into a beach club for direct oceanside relaxation. A dedicated garage side deck permits discreet access to an extensive collection of water toys without disrupting guests enjoying the beach club. The foredeck provides additional al fresco seating, and an open-air cinema adds versatility for evening entertainment. Interior spaces feature soft textures, modern materials, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame visual continuity with the surrounding seascape—the main salon flows seamlessly between lounge and formal dining areas, while a wine cellar serves the refined palate.
Operationally, VERTIGE performs with the stability and range expected of a serious explorer. Twin MTU engines deliver a cruising speed of 14 knots and maximum speed of 16 knots, while a 4,500-nautical-mile cruising range and 5,000-nautical-mile maximum range enable extended Mediterranean itineraries. Both zero-speed and underway stabilizers ensure comfort in varying sea conditions. A professional crew of ten manages all aspects of her operation, while onboard amenities include a full gymnasium, comprehensive air conditioning, and satellite connectivity.
Available for VERTIGE charter across the West Mediterranean and Eastern Mediterranean regions—encompassing Italy, France, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, and Montenegro—the yacht offers rates from €270,000 per week in shoulder season, scaling to €285,000 during peak summer. This is a refined platform for discerning travelers seeking award-winning design, flexible accommodation, and uncompromising attention to outdoor lifestyle.

2026 is the most significant delivery year for large superyachts in over a decade. Palm Beach 2026: The Yachts That Mattered
The 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show brought more than 100 superyachts to the Florida waterfront — but a handful stood out for reasons beyond scale. This is ADY’s read on the builds that rewarded close attention.

The Maldives by Private Yacht
The Maldives spans 1,192 coral islands across 26 atolls and 90,000 square kilometres of ocean — a geography that rewards a yacht far more than a fixed resort address. The northeast monsoon window, November to April, delivers calm seas, 26–29°C water temperatures, and visibility reaching 30 metres. W
