About the yard

Mondomarine builds at Savona, in Liguria, Italy, on a site whose shipbuilding roots go back to the Campanella yard founded in 1915; it turned to superyachts in the later 20th century. Since 2018 it has been part of Palumbo Superyachts.

The yard builds custom motor yachts in aluminium and steel, from roughly 40 to 60 metres, including long-range and explorer designs.

The Savona site has a long working history — the Campanella yard built craft for the Italian navy from 1943 and helped rebuild the post-war merchant fleet — before turning to superyachts under the Mondomarine name. The yard is known for aluminium construction, including semi-displacement and explorer designs such as the 50-metre steel explorer Tribù.
