About the yard

Prestige was launched in 1989 as a motor-yacht brand within the Jeanneau shipyard, itself founded by Henri Jeanneau in Les Herbiers, France, in 1957; the first model, the Prestige 41, was designed with Cabinet Garroni Design. The brand grew steadily through the 1990s and 2000s, and in 2009 it was established as a standalone marque within Groupe Beneteau, exporting to the United States and Asia from that point. Prestige builds motor yachts in composite construction at Les Herbiers, with a second facility in Monfalcone, Italy, added in 2014, across the M-Line flybridge range and the X-Line, which runs the X60 and X70 models with an open aft "Infinity Cockpit" layout. The M-Line's flagship is the M8, a 19.82-metre power catamaran offered with up to five cabins; an updated M8 Evo version, with revised styling and reconfigured living spaces, is set to premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2026.
