Pershing is an Italian builder founded in 1981 by Tilli Antonelli, Fausto Filippetti and Giuliano Onori as Cantiere Navale dell'Adriatico, based in Mondolfo on the Adriatic coast. The yard launched its first model, the Pershing 45, in 1985 and joined the Ferretti Group in 1998, where it remains today alongside Riva, Custom Line and CRN. Pershing builds high-performance composite motor yachts, historically in the roughly 14 to 35 metre range, with newer GTX sport-utility models and a flagship Pershing 140 extending the line further. In 2025 the yard launched the first GTX90, a 28-metre model, and announced a new flagship, the Pershing 170, at around 52 to 53 metres.
The Pershing 70, launched in 1991 with a 5,000hp gas turbine driving it to a reported 55 knots, was the benchmark for fast yachts of its size and marked the moment Pershing moved from sport-cruisers into serious performance territory. It set the template — turbine power on a planing hull — that the yard’s later performance models would refine.
