Posillipo traces back to the Cantieri di Posillipo yard founded in Naples in the late 1950s, later moving to Sabaudia. Since 1993 the brand has been built by Cantieri Navali Rizzardi.
The yard builds composite semi-custom planing motor yachts, known for the Technema line.
The Technema line, the name most associated with the marque, runs from roughly 13 to 30 metres across planing and semi-displacement hulls; larger examples such as the 26-metre Technema 85 carry twin MTU engines for sustained fast cruising. These are well suited to short island hops and day-charter use across the Mediterranean.
