The Italian yard you are most likely to find in the western Mediterranean — and what a Benetti charter on the Riviera actually looks like, modern or classic.
Benetti is the Italian builder you are most likely to find away from Greek waters, and the French Riviera is where the largest part of the Benetti charter fleet spends its summer. The western Mediterranean is a different charter from the Aegean — shorter passages, famous towns, harbour life alongside the swimming — and Benetti's scale and volume are built for it.
Why a Benetti suits the Riviera
This is a coast of short hops and busy harbours, where the yacht is as much a base in the marina as a platform at anchor. A Benetti's displacement hull, deck space, and crew carry a larger group comfortably through that kind of week: mornings at anchor off the Îles de Lérins or Cap Ferrat, afternoons into Monaco or Saint-Tropez, evenings ashore. The events calendar — the Grand Prix in May, the festival in summer — shapes high-season demand, and the best weeks book early. Sardinia and the Italian coast are within reach for a longer charter.
Modern or classic
Benetti has been building for a century and a half, and the Riviera fleet reflects that range. At the modern end are the latest deliveries — yachts like the 67-metre LADY A, built in 2024 and based in Monaco, with the folding terraces and sea-level beach club that define the current Benetti. At the other end, an older hull that has been kept current pays off: the 58-metre ILLUSION V, built in 2014 and refitted in 2024, offers the volume and presence of a larger classic yacht at a different point on the rate scale. Both have their place — a newer yacht for the latest layout and toys, a well-refitted classic for space and value.
Chartering a Benetti on the Riviera
We represent Benetti across the western Mediterranean as well as Greece, so we can place you aboard the right one wherever she is — modern or classic, Monaco, Cannes, or further along the coast. Weekly rates are yacht-specific and move with the season, plus VAT and APA in each case. Tell us your dates, guest count, and the stretch of coast you have in mind, and we will shortlist what is genuinely available and prepare a tailored quote.
