CRN was founded in 1963 by Sanzio Nicolini in Ancona, Italy, where it still builds. Since 1999 it has been part of the Ferretti Group, serving as its custom superyacht yard.
The yard builds fully custom displacement superyachts with steel hulls and aluminium superstructures, from roughly 40 to 90 metres.
The yard's largest delivery is the 80-metre Chopi Chopi, launched in 2013 with naval architecture by CRN's own engineering team and exterior by Zuccon International Project. Working within the Ferretti Group, CRN draws on shared engineering and design studios while building each hull to the individual owner.
