Princess was founded in 1965 in Plymouth, England, as Marine Projects, by David King. Its yachts have been drawn in partnership with designer Bernard Olesinski since 1980.
The yard builds composite motor yachts — flybridge, V-class, S-class, and larger M-class superyachts — through to around 40 metres.
The range spans the V-class sport yachts to the larger M-class, but two recent lines stand out: the X-class Super Flybridge, whose near-full-length upper deck the yard says adds significant interior volume for its length, and the foiling R-class, a carbon-hulled sports yacht built with Pininfarina and BAR Technologies with a reported top speed above 50 knots.
