Tecnomar was founded in 1987 in Viareggio, Italy. Since 2009 it has been part of The Italian Sea Group and builds at Marina di Carrara.
The yard builds aluminium performance motor yachts with a sporting profile, from around 20 metres upward; recent work includes the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63.
Its sharpest recent expression is the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 — a 19-metre carbon-fibre craft with twin MAN engines totalling 4,000 horsepower, a reported top speed of 60 knots, and a run capped at 63 units, the number a nod to Lamborghini's 1963 founding. It captures the yard's focus on light, fast, aluminium and composite construction.
