About the yard

Feadship was formed in 1949 as a cooperation between the Dutch builders De Vries and Van Lent and the naval architects De Voogt, names that date back to the 19th century. Its yachts are built in the Netherlands.

The yard builds fully custom, one-off motor superyachts in steel and aluminium, typically from around 50 to over 100 metres. There are no series models — each yacht is engineered to the owner.

The name is an acronym — First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders — coined in 1949 to reach the post-war American market. The yard has marked several firsts since, including the 83.5-metre Savannah of 2015, described as the first hybrid motor yacht, and the 101.5-metre Symphony, its first delivery to pass 100 metres.
